Built in 1856, the farm house is a grade II listed building in a conservation area. It is a working farm which welcomes guests and is located in Bousted hill near Burgh by Sands.
We offer stunning views overlooking Solway Marshes towards Scotland.
After our farmhouse breakfast with our own eggs and local produce, there is time to walk to the end of the Hadrian’s Wall path and catch the bus back to Carlisle. For cyclists we are situated at the halfway stage between St Bees and Walls End on the Hadrian’s Wall cycle route.
We have a locked shed for bikes and a puncture repair kit/tools are available.
We have ample off road parking – cars/bikes can be left here for the week.
